When the summer sun blazes, there’s no better way to beat the heat than floating down a river with good friends and great vibes.

This summer, we took on the Spokane River, and it did not disappoint! From Post Falls to the Idaho state line, the river delivered just the right mix of light rapids for some adrenaline and calm stretches perfect for soaking in the scenery. The water was refreshing, the laughs were nonstop, and the adventure was everything we hoped for.

Of course, no river trip is complete without a little thrill-seeking. We found an old bridge pillar that practically dared us to jump off it. Naturally, we accepted the challenge. One of us walked away with a minor battle scar—nothing too serious, just a good story to tell. Worth it? Absolutely.

At the end of the day, this float trip was a PNW summer classic—epic views, cool water, and unforgettable moments. If you’re ever looking for an adventure in the Pacific Northwest, add rafting the Spokane River to your bucket list. You won’t regret it!
