Our Journey to PNW KYNE
Hi, we’re Garret and Joe, two brothers who have always shared a love for adventure and all that is the great Pacific Northwest. Together we formed PNW KYNE as our way of sharing our adventures with others and giving back to the communities we love so much.
Founded in 2017, our company began life under a different name, PNW Journey, which symbolized our path through the vast landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Whether it be camping in Sawtooth, hiking Mount Rainier, boating the Puget Sound or hitting the Jeep trails, we love everything outdoors! In the years exploring however, we came to realize that even in this beautiful paradise, we often came across communities in need of support, more funding for outdoor programs for children and greater focus on protecting our delicate ecology. With our flourishing passion in helping others, we created alliances with non profit organizations such as the NAACP and programs such as No Kid Hungry through PNW Journey, forging a path in which we could contribute to our communities by donating a portion of our sales, volunteering our time and supporting charitable events.
Our adventures and our paths have always joined us with like-minded individuals we affectionately have called our “Kind”. It’s from this commonly used expression that we derived our beloved company name you know as PNW KYNE. Everything in the Pacific Northwest is a ‘kind’ of something; Having a unique spirit, energy and a flow that comes alive and thrives in the nature around us. This beautiful corner of America is shared by all walks of life both humans and animals alike, perhaps even Bigfoot too!
Whether you were born and raised in the PNW like us, or found your way here and embraced it as your own, or even just simply love all that the Pacific Northwest represents, you are one of our KYNE and as PNW KYNE continues to grow, our passions and our mission have become the beating heart of our company culture. Together with our supportive wives, wonderful extended family and close friends, we have aligned our efforts and our goals to further the PNW KYNE cause.
